EchoStar's DISH Network said it will offer CNN en Espanol, a 24-hour Spanish-language news network, in three different Spanish-language packages.

The three packages getting CNN en Espanol are DISH Latino, DISH Latino Dos and DISH Latino Max. DISH Latino features 23 Spanish-language channels, a lineup that includes Discovery en Espanol, Univision, Galavision, TV AZTECA, Telemundo, TV Chile, SUR, HTV, MTV Espanol, Gran Canal Latino, FOX Sports World Espanol, DISH CD Latin (six channels) and Playboy TV en Espanol (optional).

In addition, DISH Network offers DISH Latino DOS, a bilingual package which provides Spanish-language channels from DISH Latino as well as more than 20 channels from the regular DISH Network slate. DISH Latino is available for $20.99 per month and DISH Latino Dos is available for $31.99 per month. DISH Latino Max sells for $39.99 per month.

Boy are they late with this info! CNN Español was added to the Dish Latino packages back on February 13th.

Oh well. I guess they just got the news. :)

In reality, CNN Español was a replacement to Telemundo Internacional which is no longer available. I still haven't found out if Dish took the channel off or if they went dark in the U.S. Telemundo Internacional itself was a rebranding on CBS Telenoticias (CBS TV News)

See ya
Tony
Thanks Tony. If I would have known that I would't have posted that story. Oh well. That's what I get for not looking at my own listings over on the home page. :)
