EI- Mets-Astros on Sunday, August 3rd, will it be on EI

I live in Los Angeles and organize a Mets fan group who watch the Mets games on Sundays at a local bar. The EI blackout of Ch11 WPIX home games have been very frustrating for me.

This Sunday, the Mets play the Astros. As far as I understand, even thought the Astros play on an OTA channel in Houston on Sundays, they are broadcast on an RSN outside of the My20 area and are therefore picked up by EI. However. so far I don't see the game scheduled on the DirecTV website. Someone told me that sometimes they add the games to the schedule late.

Ive tried to ask DirecTV this type of question before, but no one I ever talk to knows what they are talking about.

Does anyone know whether or not the Mets-Astros game will be on EI on Sunday, August 3rd?

Thanks,
Keyser

The My20 feed SHOULD be in EI but it will be the SD feed only not the HD feed.
Why does In Demand get WPIX feeds and not Directv?
:hurah: I live in the Houston area, The My20 games are on RSN CH. 678 and on EI's is known yet but D* normally puts it on on channel. So don't worry you will be able to watch the Mets Vs Astros next weekend:hurah:
The game will be on EI but you won't get any HD coverage, unfortunately.
Thanks for the responses. Like I said, it bothers me that they haven't updated their online schedule yet. Do they normally lag behind in updating their online schedule in these cases?

While HD would be nice, Ill be happy if they just have it on at all, especially considering that we couldn't meet today because the Mets were playing the Cards, another team who shows their Sunday games on an OTA channel :-( I'd hate to miss two weeks in a row.
Sorry to bump my own thread but ...

I still don't see the Mets-Astros Sunday August 3rd game on the DirecTV EI schedule. It does show it being on FS-H ch 678, but I assume that that channel will be blocked out here in Los Angeles. I don't see it on any of the EI channels in the 700s. Does DirecTV like to do this? Is there any way to know one way or the other if the game will be on DirecTV this Sunday?
I wouldn't get worried unless it isn't added by saturday night/sunday morning. You might want to get mlb.tv to help make up for those days when directv makes mistakes or to get other games you might not be getting.

Thanks for the reply. I have MLB.TV at home, but this is for a Mets fan group in LA. We watch the games at a local bar on Sundays, so if it isn't on DirecTV, then we have no meeting.
Yeah D* is pretty lame with updating the Sunday Schedule. Expect the game to be aligned with the 4pm games as they do this with all the FSN Alt. feeds.

I just checked the Guide for Sunday Mets Astros game and it comes up that on FSN-H Ch. 678 there will be that game on that channel. I don't think that channel will be black out for you in LA because my best friend lives in Long Beach and has EI and he get that channel every Sunday even thoe it is MY 20. So don't worry just set down, at 11:00AM your time, and tune to CH.678 and enjoy the game.
