I am getting to move my slimline dish from the roof to the a pole mount on the ground because it will be eaier to clear the snow and ice in the winter.
I bought a new slimline dish to mount on the pole and when I look at the receiver and dishponter.com it states the elavation for my zip code(15626) should be 38 degrees.
However, when I climb on the roof to check the original dish, the elevation is set for 22 degrees on a plumb mast. All signals are in the low 90's.
I would understand a few degrees, but why is there such a discrepancy between the two elevations?
Thanks in advance,
DocBM
