The last couple of days I have noticed the Engadget and Gizmodo apps are missing from my app lineup. They are still listed as my TV apps on the setup menu but are not showing up on my list when I hit the right arrow button. Where did they go?
If you look really careful you will see the Engadget and Gizmodo apps are grayed out in your TV apps. I have just checked and it is the same with mine. I have noticed that many more of my apps are grayed out. I checked on all apps and there are many missing. This means that they are not available at present and could be gone for any period of time up to forever or even longer.
You can check availability of apps if you go to the setup screen, when you select TV Apps. Or go online to see what apps are available and add or remove them from there. Here is the link that takes you directly to it. You will need to log in with your DIRECTV email and password for your online account. Below is an alphabetical listing of all Apps and Engadget and Gizmodo are missing.
