I almost hate to ask this simple question, particularly this morning with all the panic over the distants being terminated, but here goes anyway.
Prior to the Dish locals here going live, but right after they were uplinked, the EPG on my receiver started showing program info for each of my locals, which I get via OTA. A couple of weeks ago, I had the Dish LIL locals turned on for the free preview. I'm now considering having those turned off.
If I do that, will I lose the locals (OTA) programming info being displayed on my EPG? I ask because I thought I read a post somewhere here where someone did the same thing & did lose his EPG info.

The 811 receiver will display EPG info for OTA channels w/o a subscription to locals.

As long as the LiLs aren't costing you anything, why rush to cancel them? Other than so we can find out what happens? :)

If you have a 921/942/622, it would be odd to have received the EPG info for OTA before the fee LiL channels were added.

Thanks for the info. It just so happens, I do have an 811, so I should be ok then. I wasn't meaning I was turning them off now....I'm just thinking ahead.
