Hello,

Since my last software upgrade, the episode data at the bottom of the info window on each station has been changed to a blue color. Very hard to read, especially on certain channels/ programming.

Is everyone experiencing this change as well? Any way to fix?

Thanks,

Joe

Try hitting that info button twice, that lights up the backgound so you can read it.

Huh, never noticed the change. I just have always pushed it twice.

What software version on which receiver?
VIP722 with 610 software. Again, I understand about the hitting the info button twice, but there was no reason to do this until the change occured. Now depending on the background of the current program, I can't read the episode data.

Thanks for your help!

It has all ways been this way. you need to press the info button twice to get the back ground to change to a solid color so you can read it.

OP is saying that the text on the Info screen is blue when it used to be white. White can be read on the transparent screen, not blue.

Try a reboot.

Thank you for understanding the situation, as it has not "always been this way". I'll try a re-boot.

Re-boot didn't fix problem. Interestingly, my VIP622 in another room has the episode info in white as did the VIP722 before the "upgrade".

Ah, I see what you're talking about. The info screen says "Episode Original Air Date" or something at the bottom, and it's in blue which makes it hard to read on the transparent screen.

Honestly, I don't remember if it was blue or white on the last software rev. :) I never paid attention.

Yeah, it was definitely white just like my VIP622 still is.
