Try hitting that info button twice, that lights up the backgound so you can read it.
Understand that, but the default used to be white so that it showed up clearly even on the trasparent screen.jclewter79 said:Try hitting that info button twice, that lights up the backgound so you can read it.
VIP722 with 610 software. Again, I understand about the hitting the info button twice, but there was no reason to do this until the change occured. Now depending on the background of the current program, I can't read the episode data.BobaBird said:What software version on which receiver?
Thank you for understanding the situation, as it has not "always been this way". I'll try a re-boot.Taco Lover said:OP is saying that the text on the Info screen is blue when it used to be white. White can be read on the transparent screen, not blue.
Try a reboot.
Re-boot didn't fix problem. Interestingly, my VIP622 in another room has the episode info in white as did the VIP722 before the "upgrade".Taco Lover said:OP is saying that the text on the Info screen is blue when it used to be white. White can be read on the transparent screen, not blue.

Glad to know it's not just mine. Hopefully it will be fixed.n0qcu said:It's not just your 722 its all of them.
Yeah, it was definitely white just like my VIP622 still is.Taco Lover said:Ah, I see what you're talking about. The info screen says "Episode Original Air Date" or something at the bottom, and it's in blue which makes it hard to read on the transparent screen.
Honestly, I don't remember if it was blue or white on the last software rev.I never paid attention.
