Esata Question

I have a FAP eSata now... Curious, does anyone know, if I take it out of its current case and place it in a different case, or internal, will I loose my recordings? I wouldn't think so considering it will still be married with the same DVR, but was wondering if anyone has ever tried this.

Should be fine.. the case is just an interface.. and I know that you can pull them from an external case and put them internal and they still work..

You should retain access to the recordings if you do that. I have gone the other way.... putting the former internal drive in an external enclosure and still was able to watch the recordings on the drive.
