Did you change your programming package, bscott, and is ESPN Classic is the only channel you're missing?

ESPN Classic isn't going away any time soon. They'll reprogram it as ESPN 3 before they fold it!

I like the idea of merging the two...

But, I'd miss some of the classic programming. I understand that Classic struggles, but it'd be nice if they do merge that they keep Cheap Seats!

I'd rather the ESPN3 rumors and a focus on soccer.

I have nothing against the NFL, in fact I really like watching it on Sundays. But to have a network that is completely devoted to soccer (or at least for the most part devoted to it), that would make getting up balls early in the morning on Saturdays with my 9 month old a little less painful.

IMHO,

ESPN Classic: A good idea, poorly executed. Simply put, it does not have enough reruns. A function of many sports broadcasts not being recorded and saved, and channels other than those in the Disney group not being willing to sell what they have. Much like Nick @ Nite, I have simply seen all the reruns they have a right to.

NFLN: The day they broke faith with those of us who paid for the channel and gave the Week 17 game away on free TV, any incentive for any cable company to add (or keep) this channel ended.
