ESPN Gameplan/Guide Question

764 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  DCSholtis
The list of games on Gameplan on dtv.com this week lists Mississippi @ LSU at 8pm on 778. The guide online and on my boxes lists Fairfield @ UConn on that channel at that time. (I am outside the area that is blacked out and has to get the individual game ppv, so I should be able to order gameplan to get it).

Is that an error, or should I call dtv to clarify? Also, if I order the gameplan package for the day over the phone, there is an additional cost and I don't see anywhere online just to order today's package (We don't have a landline hooked up to the recievers). If I do get a landline to the recievers and order it on one, will it be available on all the recievers?

On a completely unrelated question, are the 13v and 18v lines coming from a standard round dish to a splitter interchangable, or does one have to go to one input. If I move the switch and reverse them, what would happen?

On your unrelated question - if you in fact are using a splitter you can expect to have problems. If you are using a MULTISWITCH, then the two lines are interchangeable. It does not matter which goes where, except...

If you are using splitters to feed the inputs to two multiswitches (which can be done), then you have to connect both multiswitches the same (as far as 13 and 18 volt).

mistyped, meant multiswitch.....that takes care of that part of the question, thanks!

According to Matt Sarz's link above (VERY accurate IMO) the online guide and your boxes are both wrong. Miss Vs LSU is airing on Channel 778 tonight at 8pm. (Those inside the black out zone must order the game on Channel 798 OR Channel 799. Blackout zones include, La., Miss. and Memphis, TN.)
