I have a very strange issue that I can't seem to figure out. I seem to have lost ESPNHD and ESPN2HD. All other channels are working fine. I get searching for signal on these two channels after no issues for 2 years. Any ideas? This is happening on 3 different recievers. Have there been any changes to these 2 channels recently?

Which receiver do you have? If you don't have an MPEG-4 system or dish, you'll have to tune to the 70's for those channels in HD, as the channels are in MPEG-4 HD at the 200 level slots. Move was made on 7/31 with D11 being turned on!

Any ideas what would cause only these two channels to be out. I appear to be getting all other channels with no problems. Did they switch satellites for these two recently?

I suspect your trying to watch the HD versions on 206 and 209... and that's probably your problem. You need to check your signals on the 99c sat...

Now this is starting to make sense. My setup is taking advantage of the fix that I have seen in this forum so that I could still use my OTA with the new dishes and receivers. I am now wondering if anyone with this setup is now having this issue? This really stinks!!! I don't get my local HD channels from D* so now I really have an issue.

Post your setup. (signal path from dish to IRD, including mutil-switches, diplexers, BBC, etc.)

Ok, not evil, but they do cause problems passing the signal through. I left them in when I installed my two HD DVRs, even though I was no longer using them. On both receivers, I lost ESPN and one of the movie channels that is repeated in the lower 100 (don't remember which one). I also lost signal very easily. After I took out the diplexers, everything has worked fine.

Update: I am getting the channels in the 70s so I guess that will work for now. What is the advantage to having the 200s for the ESPN HDs? Are they going to take away the ones in the 70s? Not an issue once they get my locals in HD through D*. Not sure when that is for Boise ID.

The ones in the 70's will go away. I am not sure of the timeline but would expect them to go away by the end of the year.
