Any idea why ESPNU would just go bye bye? Was there this morning, verified with 2 other subscribers gone for them now to.

I have the same problem. I will call customer if it doesn't come back. My message says that I am not subscribed to that channel, which only makes sense if DTV changed something on their end

I can't test, as I am being blacked out right now (the SEC game is on a local channel); however, I notice that the channel is greyed out in the guide for me, incorrectly indicating a non-subscribed channel.
The SEC game is on a local channel. I'm receiving 'Not Subscribed' - which is incorrect. We'll see as the game ends.
I'm in Ky and it's on our local channel wave 3 but i am also getting it on ESPNU channel 208 to.
It's been back here in Texas.
Yep back on here too. I called and they had a "we're having technical difficulties with some of our channels" in the pre-recorded message, so I hung up and just decided to wait.
I don't get the channel but today I got the searching for another channel and send me there when I press go there.
its on here,

prehaps maybe the solar flare or

the Anicent Spirits of Evil were casting a spell over your Directv System
ESPNU was showing an SEC game. It was supposed to be blacked out in SEC markets. Somebody at DirecTV, or ESPN, hit the wrong switch and blacked it out universally. Problem was resolved after about an hour.
It must have been blacked out for a while for me too. I had my DVR set for the UK/LSU game from 1-4pm. It didn't start recording until 1:56. I thought the solar storm may have knocked it out too. But I'm guessing it was blacked out since Channel 50 in DC was showing the game.
