Hi, I know I've seen this posted before, but I couldn't seem to find it. Is there any word on the central DVR (again, I know it has a name, but can't recall that either). I really want to move into DVR (I'm 1 of the 10 people on the planet who still uses a VCR), but it's so frustrating that with the DVR's you have to watch the show in the same place you tape it, which doesn't really work for me. I thought I had read that DirecTV was coming out with a DVR that you could view on any TV in the house. Thanks for any info.

Its called the Home Media Center and of today is more vaporware than reality. Look for a possible announcement in a couple of weeks at CES.

And keep in mind anything announced at CES can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few years away from being in consumers hands. Typically several months.
