I have been with DirecTV for 8-10+ year and I know paying invoices past due is totally MY fault but I cant believe DirecTV's new policys.

My monthly plan is only approx. $65, I forgot to make a payment and just figured I would double up when my next bill comes.

My next bill comes and its approx. $135 which is what it should be but instead of my normal due date, its a cut off notice only giving me 3 days to pay instead of the normal due date two weeks later. There is also a $3-4 late charge for being less than 2 weeks late.

I know its MY fault but its only $65. :mad: and only 2 weeks late.

I did a CC payment the day I received the past due notice but this part is what bothered me and some of you may have missed:

"only giving me 3 days to pay instead of the normal due date two weeks later" They had a cut off date of 10/27 and my normal due date would be 11/8.

I still don't understand that. Its not like I have the TCPremier or a lot of movie channels or order a lot of PPV's, I have the basic package no premiums with 3 receivers/DVR's at approx. $65 a month.
