Hello,
Is there any way to extend the range of a Joey remote? Joey has a internal antenna I have read, so the coax extender is no longer in play. Also the Hopper antenna couple has different threads.......? but it works better.

I ran across the antenna issue with a 922 once, uses the same coarse threads as the hopper so the only way to boost the range is jury-rigging or increasing the address of the tv2 remote or physically relocating the receiver. Hopefully with internal antennas on the joeys this will no longer be an issue.
A bigger issue I think is that there is no coax out on the joeys, so older tuner-only tvs can only be connected thru an adapter or a vcr, which of course installers do not stock.

True, I use a RF modulator for several SD antique TV's, it works really well. It's from Radio Shack.
