External drive for 722
Has this been discussed? I can't find anything.
My 722 has a bad HDMI port and I have to swap it. However, I don't want to lose my recordings. I know nothing about using an external drive but common sense tells me this is the way to go in order to back up my recordings before swapping receivers. Is that correct?
If so, what drive is recommended and where to buy? I don't need a very big drive -- I have about 40 hours that needs to be backed up, mostly not in HD. What else is involved that I need to know about?
