They are slowly getting rid of extra stuff in SD to entice customers interested in specific things to get HD. They did it to the racing channels as well.

Not sure at what level they get turned on but they do not require sports pack or any add on.

Choice and above for sure. Not sure if those with lower packages get them or not. Due to this change access to the HD service would be necessary too now. Channels 481-484 are the stations being used now. It used to go up to 489.

I really need some help here.

We only have a single LNB setup on 101W and therefore dont get HD channels. We are subscribed to Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Soccer Plus.

But when I go to 481, I dont get anything. 480-490 are not in my guide.

Are they part of a package?, we have Premier and FSC+ already
Are the channels in the guide only when there is no game being played?

HD required. You need to get your dish upgraded and then equipment upgraded too.

This is why I'm confused.

Pretty much all sports bars have converted to HD with HD screens, so there is less incentive to keep the SD going on those.

Upgrade one of your SD boxes to HD. They will have some one install it for free. When they do, they will change the satellite too. Don't believe the CSR. HD is required for a lot now.

Anyone know when the games will start up again on these channels? I did some UEFA web searching in hopes of finding out, but apparently you have to have a doctorate in futbol to make any sense of it all.

It is still possible that they will Tuesday, but if not those games are available through fox soccer 2go.

It's not that difficult, as D* has been good ( excellent, actually ) about picking up everything on Fox Soccer, FS+, FSN, as well as channels 480 and up.

Give Tribune's Guide data a bit of time to populate, usually done at least 48 hours before kick off.

Champions League Tuesday and Wednesday.

Europa League Thursday.

Look here, and for start times, subtract 5 hours for EDT.

They'll all be on Fox Soccer, FS+, FSN, or D's extra channels from 480 and up.
