Trick play apparently only works with the Viiv media server. Hopefully Directv will add support for other servers soon.NorfolkBruh said:
Fast Forward Video Direct (not on demand!)
So here's two I haven't seen yet...
I am playing a movie from my laptop via HR20-700. Two things happened (or rather one that won't!):
1- I cannot fast forward the movie. It stopped and I want to start it up again from where I left off (34 minutes into it) and there doesn't seem to be a way to fast forward. The "play," "stop," and "pause" all work but rewind nor fast forward do. Any suggestions? Oh... NO! It is not playing on the laptop... the HR20 is just pulling it via TVersity server.
2-While watching a movie my network disconnected. The message on the screen (for about 2 seconds) said something like, "Media server is incompatible with this channel. Media server must disconnect to watch this station." Then it disconnected. I was on BBCAmerica (channel 264). I changed the channel to 13 (local ABC affiliate) and am watching the movie again (yeah... from the beginning!)
