I have a H20-600 which has started to suddenly loose signal and need to be rebooted .. I have isolated it to the unit since I have another one that I cycled to that spot and it runs fine.. I have the service agreement .. What is the fastest way to cut through the customer service BS and get the failing one replaced.
what department or phone number to use ??

Regular 1-800-DIRECTV number, tell them you plug it in and there are no lights on it, no output to TV, nothing. Completely dead.

Yes, don't say that it is on but only can't get the channels... they will ask you to send a tech out and charge you for it.

How can they charge me if I have the service plan ??..
Won't they try to pin it on lightning or something if I say it is just unresponsive ?
