Thanks for the info...can you shed some light on when we are going to get PBS local HD and/or PBS National HD? We came online two weeks ago in Little Rock, sans PBS, and three other channels carried in the SD package.

:hurah: I just watched D* turn on hd lil's here in Richmond. The picture went black for a few seconds and came back in hd. Of course that is WWBT ch 12 our local NBC station which is broadcasting their local news in hd.

Ok, maybe a stupid question here, but does one have to have a package that includes local channels to receive the HD LILs?

Thanks
Subscribe to locals and HD access is all that I know you need to get HD LILs

REMEMBER: failure of a certain network to be available in HD is rarely a technical fault or oversight by DirecTV, but rather negotiations between the channel and DirecTV. If you don't get all 4 big networks, it's most likely due to the channel wanting too much or negotiations not wrapped up.
