When I FF through Local HD content it hangs on a single image and fails to advance. Sometimes this happens as soon as I push FF. Sometimes it takes a few seconds.

Any thoughts?

Yes, this is a known issue with the current release.
Use 30s SLIP or normal playbck to get past that point.

Have this same issue after the update as well. At one point last night, the unit froze completely, but after about a minute started to respond to remote commands again. I'm wishing that I hadn't done any of the updates, because things seem to be getting worse with each update.
