So I noticed yesterday when fast forwarding at 4x through the Sugar bowl that the fast forward is showing frames out of order.

I was watching the game clock at the top of the screen and it'd jump from 11:43 to 12:31 back to 11:52 and weird things like that. I didn't think to test this on 1x, 2x or 3x, but 4x is definitely showing the mpeg4 frames out of order, which makes it really tough to stop the fast forward properly.

Anyone else notice this for 1-3x or 30s slip?

It had been improved on in the 0x10b (Doesn't happen as often), but it does still occur.

They are aware of it.

It will happen less in the slower speeds.

Thanks Earl. I rarely use 4x (in this case, was just trying to get through the half-time show hehe), so it's not really very critical. I don't think it does it (or as you said, to a much lesser degree) for 30s slip, which is what I care most about for everyday viewing.
