For new threads: Auto-Search for Duplicate or Similar Threads?

I've been noticing a lot of duplicate threads lately, causing the moderators a lot of work to try to clean them up.

I have a feeling a lot of people don't click the "Check If Already Posted" button when they start a new thread. Is there a way to force the user to search before a user submits the thread?

Or can DBSTalk implement a feature now available at TiVo Community Forums, where similar threads are dynamically displayed as a user types the subject? Here is the note from a new thread at TCF:

Notice: When you enter a thread title the system will search for similar threads which have already been posted. That should help you to find answers.

Can DBSTalk do the same or something similar? It may cut down on a lot of duplicates and save the moderators a lot of extra work ...
