Force a show to record at a specific time

I am trying to record a show at a specific time every week. The show is scheduled to play at 10pm and 11pm. Even though it is recorded on my HR21, I send it to my Panny recorder to be watch later in a different room!

At 10pm it is low priority of 3 shows, so it will record at 11pm. Now when one of higher priority shows is pre-empted or a repeat, it records at 10pm. I miss the recording on my Panny recorder. I have to "manually" send it to the Panny.

I do set the show to record at 11pm. It pops to 10pm, when only one show is being recorded at 10pm. I sure would like have it record at 11pm all the time.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

Set it to record manually, where you specify the date, time slot and the channel, and don't set the recording by name.

or just take it off the 10 pm listing completely and record it only at 11 pm.

"If all else fails , read the manual" Had a hard time finding the manual record. Never used it before. With the menu system being really SLOW today (taking at least 5 seconds to move from one to another, I finally got it) What a pain the menu system is. Had to anticipate the number of button pushes to get where I wanted to be. Did get the manual recording to show up on my todo list, so I deleted the R))) on the list. Hope it will record!!!

If the above doesn't work I will try this as I of seen a glimpse of what you mean. I had R))) on at 10pm, then did R))) at 11pm. Both were on the guide. what I did next is I deleted the 10pm show and the 11pm show stuck. (Hope you can follow this)

I don't believe this will work like you want it to. I believe it will record the first episode at 11PM like the guide shows, but from then on it will go back to using the series prioritizer and recording it at 10PM if a tuner is available, or 11PM if they are both being used at 10.

The only way to do what you want is to do a manual recording at 11PM on the channel you want. Be aware this will record that channel at 11PM every time whether the show is a repeat or not, and even if it is a different show. So if you're recording say channel 249 Wednesday at 11PM it will record that every wednesday all year long, not just on Wednesday's that have new episodes. Same thing if you have it recording every weekday, it will record every weekday all year long, not just on the days with new episodes.

Is there a reason you are doing this instead of just using Whole Home DVR?
