Do a search for 02468

If your receiver has been connected for more then 6 hours.
You have the latest software version

For mine I need to set my remote to IR [from RF for some reason it doesn't work with RF].
Press the reset button under the access door [right front of the box].
When you see "Welcome to DirecTV", press 0 2 4 6 8 ]one at a time] on the remote.
The next thing you should see is "found new software", but it will take a moment or two.
