Same kind of thing going on with WREG Channel 3 CBS Memphis, Tennessee. Channel may get pulled from DirecTv Channel Lineup if an agreement is not reached by 9/1/2012.

WJW and WREG are both owned by Local TV. Could be that all Local TV's stations are in the same boat.

Edited to add: In a spot check of 5 or 6 of their stations' websites, all had a similar announcement.

funny how this comes up right at the start of football season huh??? wondering if directv can provide us with a national feed of cbs??? since wreg tv in memphis will prob go down??

I did with one for free back during the dispute with Tribune, when local KTLA 5 (CW outlet) was temporarily pulled.

Had to go through the Retention Dept. though.

I guess I will join DirecTV just in time to see two Denver Stations go; the FOX and CW affiliate.

I think directv signed a new contract this morning with 17 local stations .
