Fox pulls it's first show for the season

Even though I thought it wasn't worth airing, it still remains that Fox has announced it's pulling "Do Not Disturb" leaving "'Til Death" as the lead in to reruns of "'Til Death" in the Wednesday 9 to 10 slot. I guess that's one way of keeping the costs down for a prime time hour.

Typical Fox move.

I saw the 1st episode - no great loss
Did you even laugh at one thing through the entire show? I think I may have chuckled ... once.

Fox tends to use focus groups (I was invited to quite a few when I lived in S. CA) in addition to ratings when it comes to determining a shows fate.
I watched two episodes and while I think the should could have had promise, in its current state it was dismal.
i figured that hole in the wall would have been axed before anything else. no one that i talked to could even make it past the first show from being so stupid.

That's what I thought too but with a $25k prize per episode that makes each episode cost no more than $30k and I'm sure just one commercial during even this bad ofa show commands at least that much.
FOX also canceled Family Guy, then they brought it back years later.
Are the episodes being repurposed for Gitmo?

That's what they should do with Knight Rider!

ah c'mon Knight rider wasn't that bad to keep putting it down. sure it wasn't even close to the original. but, given a choice between this and the show "hole in the wall" I'll take Knight rider any day of the week.
No great loss, IMO. They may have a winner with Fringe, tho. I still don't know where the plot is going, but the 3 episodes I've seen have been fun to watch. /steve

Sounds like another show I need to take a look at

me thinks they was hoping that Fringe would be a good replacement to Prison Break. which seems like Prison Break has ran it's course or as others would say, "jumped the shark" and the end is near.

I agree. Prison Break is on its last run. Personally I thought they should have put Fringe and Sarah Conner together not on Monday night where Dancing With The Stars and Monday Night Football are eating the competition. Go for a SciFi Tuesday or something.

I really liked the first two seasons of prison break. Now it has just been streatched way past its prime. It was a great concept but they need to put it to rest after this season. I really like the serial drama format so it would be great if they came up with a new show like it to replace it :)
