For those of you that enjoy the entertainment of my buddy Frank Caliendo...

His departure at FOX (contract expired) has opened up new doors - he joins ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown starting today.

I'm looking forward to seeing what his new "home" brings forth in new impersonations.

Interesting typo... I assume you meant "FOX", not "COX" :)

I slept late so I missed today.... I wonder how Caliendo gets integrated into the ESPN show.
Do you lost your Man Card if you hate the new guy at Foxs who replace Caliendo?

I don't care for him either... He's barely tolerable in the TV shows and movies I've seen him in... I can understand if FOX wanted to make a change, but I don't know if they made a good choice.
I like Caliendo when he's on his own - his stand-up routines when he goes out 'on tour' when he has enough material for a show. When he's forced to come up with new material every week? I haven't liked him as much.

It's a tough gig for sure...but nobody tops his John Madden, Charles Barkley, or George W.
Caliendo's awful. Can't stand the guy.

So why would you even care about or post in a thread clearly talking to people who do care about him?
I've enjoyed him, plus he grew up in Waukesha, WI about 15 minutes from me so there may be a little bias. It's not easy coming up with new stuff every week, but he is pretty creative.

He hits the morning radio around here every once in a while (102.9), and with that morning show, it is never a boring interview.

Agreed.

I thought the thread was mostly about ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown, which I doubt I will watch any longer.
The thread title seemed quite self-explanatory.

Why would you single me out for expressing that I can't stand him when I'm not the only one in the thread with the sentiment?

Honestly, his impressions are mediocre at best and his material was pretty awful week to week, so...yeah, I question ESPN adding him.

Good news. I wonder if he will have a set segment at a set time like he on Fox.

The original post started with:

For those of you that enjoy the entertainment of my buddy Frank Caliendo...

It's an announcement thread "for those who enjoy"...not a review discussion.

Feel free to start a review discussion if you feel so strongly about it.

Enough said....nothing to see here...
Friendly moderator reminder... as long as everyone is civil and doesn't attack each other... all opinions must be valid, or no opinions are valid. If you start a thread, don't expect everyone to agree with you... expect others to disagree, as that is the basis for conversation.

Thanks for remaining civil!

Then again...there was nothing to agree or disagree with.

It was an announcement (only) for those who were interested - as plainly stated in the very first post.

Thanks for your guidance.

It took me a while to warm up to Caliendo but with Riggle I might have to wait until the sun blow up.:)
