I just received an email yesterday around 4PM CST from DirecTV. I figured many others got it too, but I saw nothing posted. Maybe I'm the only customer that got it? Lol...

All you have to do is order, max cost is $5.99. Movies $6.00 and up do not qualify. Once ordered, there will be an immediate credit on the bill/statement. I wish it was a 4K movie like a couple years ago, but at least it is something after the TPG/ATT merger. Free movies even in the pre-ATT days required legwork to get reimbursed. Thanks TPG for the gift.

I got the email and deleted it. I am not going to open my account for charges to allow this one transaction to occur. And then change my account for no charges after. Then monitor my account to be sure the $6 charge is removed at the end of the month. I just spent $6 of my time typing this.

I got that one too. I remember about 11-12 years ago DTV used to send mail in vouchers for free movies quite frequently.
