I have only been a customer for a little over a month. I registered my account before the install. I keep getting these emails saying that if you register your account before 9-30-08 that I will get a one time $3.99 credit as soon as my registration is confirmed as long as my account is active and in good standing. I called when my account was activated and was told that it should show up on my 2nd bill. It did not so I called and not only did the CSR and supervisor not know about it but neither did the VP of customer serivces office either.

I find that kind of pathetic. They are sending emails out about the offer and then when someone calls in about it they can not locate that offer. Of course they do not want me to forward the email. The guy in the office of the VP offered me the go green deal instead. I said well why should I not qualify for both? He was real hesitant to give me the credit but said if I really wanted it then he would do so. I feel for anyone else that tries to take advantge of this offer. If they do not want to honor it then they should quit sending it out in emails. See the offer in the clip attached. Anyone else had trouble getting this?

It seems to me that D* could save themselves a lot of customer service headaches if they would just put credits like this on the bill at the time the activity is completed. Having to wait two billing cycles for a $3.99 credit is ridiculous when we know they have the ability to do it immediately. The only reason I can see for waiting to apply credits is so maybe the less diligent customers will forget about it. Sort of like the way many people never mail in their rebate coupons.

What made me mad was that not even the VP of customer service's office knew of the deal.

PPV has so little value to me now with the 24 hour expiration window that I'm not even interested in getting a free one.
I just planned on getting the $3.99 credit. I wont be ordering a PPV either. The email just says register and get a $3.99 credit. I was like okay where is the credit? It was not on the first or 2nd bill. No one at D* knew about the offer.
