Some people are being given Showtime free for three months as part of the Loyal Customer program, but for whatever reason, they don't notify you of that I don't think. If you've been a customer in good standing for five (or three?) years or more and September is your anniversary month, I would say that's what you're experiencing.JeffTex42 said:So I looked at my account on Directv.com and noticed that Showtime was listed in "My Services". I confirmed that I am getting the channels even though I never signed up for them or got notice that I was receiving them. I don't want to call just to find out its a mistake and have them turn them off. Anyone else?
thats classic directv....u just couldnt write this stuff. :lol:JLucPicard said:Some people are being given Showtime free for three months as part of the Loyal Customer program, but for whatever reason, they don't notify you of that I don't think.
I have that deal to but after the first four months are up then it will still be another $14 or so off your bill even if you do have that deal.todbnla said:One CSR offered me free show time too for a year but after she told me it was going to be a month for my install I canceled with them and went thru a local installer. Since I have the NFl Sunday ticket promo I have it anyway...
The new season of Dexter is starting very soon. That is worth watching. I must admit that their channels have been lacking for years.the new guy said:I got a postcard in the mail about a month ago saying I was getting Showtime free for three months for my anniversary with DirecTV.
One month, and I have only found like 5 things to record. Oh, well, it's free and I didn't have to ask, beg, or threaten anyone to get it, so I will just enjoy it while I have it.![]()
Yeah, I now see the same thing too.JeffTex42 said:FWIW ... I logged into directv.com and noticed that it is an anniversary gift. 12 months for free. They could have told us though.
