IMO I would not say the best show on TV but I do think it is in the top 4 or 5. But something I said a few weeks ago in another thread I will say again, I hope they get back to playing a little football this season. The first season was a good mix between playing football and everything else. Last season was all about everything else and a little football maybe every few episodes.

Absolutely. The first season was much better than the second, IMHO. Still one of my top 10 shows, though.

Wife and I love the show as well. Tho based on the promo pic on the DirecTV website, I'm not sure we're gonna get too much more football. /steve

Season 2 due to the writers strike was such a huge disappointment it almost lost me as a fan. I know that the kid from KY Jeremy Sumpter(sp) was signed to be the new backup QB this season...

i received my response from D*. In sum, it says a technican will call you to troubleshoot your system to correct your inability to see FNL in your guide.

Jeez, they don't even realize what they are responding to! That was a waste of time.

I wonder if DirecTV forgot to provide Tribune Media Service with the 101 listings, and, as a result, TMS didn't insert them in the current GUIDE DATA? That would be ironic, if true. :lol: /steve

So I saw another promo that states: FNL Oct.1, 9pm Eastern. So in my timezone that is 8pm. Looked at the 8pm (9pm eastern) and it says that Toby Keith special that I have watched a few times?

If the "blank recording" issue they've allegedly been working on is any indication how long this is going to take to get fixed.. we're in trouble. :nono2:

Well, they do have a week to fix it. What I'm interested in is how often will they run it? My dvr is booked at 8 central, are they going to show it several times on Wed and throughout the week? Or just once?

I would guess there would be many repeats.

Then again, I would have guessed that guide data for this would have been correct at this point.

OK, I just received a response. This issue is under investigation at the moment and should be corrected soon. I'm sure the guide data will be available before 10/1.

Looks like 9pm ET showing .. Which mean's I can record it @ 6pm
