I have an H20 and an HR21 with the most recent national software release on both.

Prior to the national release if I was in the full guide, I would be able to enter a number and then press select and jump to that location in the guide, now when doing the same it just closes the guide and goes back to the channel I was previously watching as if I selected that channel from the guide and pressed select without entering a number first.

I haven't been able to find a setting to change the behavior back, if possible.

I'm sorry if this has been posted somewhere already, I wasn't able to find it.

if i'm in the guide (w/ most recent NR) I punch in a channel number and hit ENTER and the guide jumps to that channel.

Interesting, I'll have to recheck my H20 tonight when I get home, I know for sure the HR21 is doing it, I thought the H20 was doing it also.

If I enter 0206 it will jump to 206 in the guide, if I enter 206 and wait it will jump to 206, if I enter 206 and press select it goes back to viewing the original channel I was on before pressing the guide button.

I was just reading another thread I think this issue is that I am using the orange select button instead of the actual enter button. This is the way I've always done it though.

I was going to post this in another forum as well.. My HR21 is OK.. my H20-100 is acting like this since the last national release..

Example.. I'm watching EPSN.. Wife wants food network.. types in 231.. hits select.. and goes back to EPSN.. but if she hits 231 and lets it sit, it'll change channels..

My HR20-100 and D11 boxes work just fine.. odd

My HR20-700 will also jump to the channel number I enter in the guide if I press enter after the number or just let it sit. If I enter any channel number and then press select, then the guide goes away and the channel I was watching reappears.
