Future HD Channels

I have been noticing that several stations are advertising they are in HD. Some are National Geographic Channel and History Channel, just to name 2.

Are these ever or any others, going to be picked up by DirecTV in HD?

What is the future lineup for HD for DirecTV?

thanks

It would be nice to pick up at least a couple.

Here are all the current networks that simulcast in HD (off the top of my head).

Directv carries none of them.

A&E HD
History Channel HD
HGTV HD
Food Network HD
NFL Network HD (Directv at least carries the games in HD)
STARZ HD
Cinemax HD
National Geographic HD
MTV HD

If there are any others please add.

Hopefully when additional capacity becomes available in mid-2007 when the two new Ka-band satellites are operational.
TNT HD
HBO HD
SHO HD
ESPN HD
ESPN2 HD

Although Discovery HD Theater is not technically a simulcast, I think
it should go here because of all the other SD Discovery channels.

Also, ABC, CBS, FOX, CW and PBS simulcast HD programming through
most of their respective affiliates.
I don't know about the rest of the country, but in Seattle the PBS station only has a minimal amount of simulcasting. Most of the HD is endless repeats (much of which started out with SD broadcasts). According to the local station, PBS only distributes a lot of the letterboxed stuff in SD.
