Is there a picture quality gain as signal strength goes up? I'm getting around 70% for the 4 majors using my indoor Silver Sensor. PQ is great, I have no problems. Just wondering if a rise in signal would translate to a better picture.

No... Picture Quality will not "increase" with signal strength.

Stability of the picture though (pixelizing and loss of pictures), will increase though the better signal strength you have.

These are digital signals. 0's and 1's.
Either you get the signal or you don't....

Welcome to the forums! :welcome_s

You didn't join the forums soon enough, alas :) :)

Ok, don't buy that how about "You didn't slip Earl a large enough bribe" :) :)

Or, you don't buy enough service from D* :)

On a slightly more serious note, how long have you had your HR20?

Cheers,
Tom

Actually,

You get a stable picture & uninterruped audio or,
you get a picture that stops & starts and audio that cuts in&out or,
you get a black screen and no sound.
