It looked awful. They started the game in SD, and things went downhill from there.
Georgia-Arizona State on WSB-HD Atlanta
I don't know if there are any Atlanta viewers on here that got this impression, but the PQ on WSB tonight was awful. I was flipping between ESPNHD and ABCHD, and the Auburn-LSU game looked infinitely better than the Georgia-Arizona State game. In fact, when ESPN ran highlights of the ABC game, the ABC game looked great on ESPN.

IMHO, game did not look any better on WABC. I would lay the blame on ABC and not WSB
A couple of people reported issues with the ABC broadcast last night. I suggested to one that it must have been his local, because the game looked perfect here, both OTA and via the sat.

When the broadcast started in SD I told my wife (who also agreed) there was NO way we could watch the game. The audio was coming thru in DD but NO HD!
Luckily it did switch but then it still looked horrible compared to ESPN.
I am glad someone else noticed this.

Here In my Market the game was unwatchable in HD. ABC 24 where I get my Local ABC From out of Memphis kept having alot of Pixelation and Green Globs kept appearing on the screen and the screen had a lag to it every few seconds for the entire game. ESPN Looked good for the Auburn-LSU Game and I eventually gave up trying to watch the rest of the Georgia-Arizona State game in HD. I can't believe i'm paying for this HD Crap if it is going to keep on being like this every week.
Very disappointing that Georgia gets ABC national coverage - never - and, the one time they're on there other than the '03 Sugar Bowl, the PQ is bad.
