This has been a rumor, but becoming more of a reality. Windows is going to a system similar to OS X, yearly updates.

This could work ONLY if the updates were evolutionary and not revolutionary. Just for clarity, the Windoze 8 interface change would be classified as revolutionary. Otherwise Business/Corporate IT will find something else.

Agreed. I think it would be more than a service pack, maybe not as large a change as say from Server 2008 to 2008 R2.
