It is called favorites. I don't see them at all since I don't have the channels in my favorites."raott" said:For every Viacom channel you see the channel, the -1 alert channel and then a banner for "more info". Its obnoxious, get rid of it.
No, it's called a company using common sense and seeing how obtrusive it is."tonyd79" said:It is called favorites. I don't see them at all since I don't have the channels in my favorites.
Yeah cause they know which channel you want information on."raott" said:No, it's called a company using common sense and seeing how obtrusive it is.
Take your favorites off, try to navigate through the guide and report back. On second thought, don't bother because the response will be predictable."tonyd79" said:Yeah cause they know which channel you want information on.
Obtrusive? No more than the dozens of PPV channels or the other channels you don't subscribe to.
How do you filter them out? Favorites!
Okay then. You don't want to bother to use the dvr as it was designed. I get it."raott" said:Take your favorites off, try to navigate through the guide and report back. On second thought, don't bother because the response will be predictable.
I don't use favorites, I have no desire to use favorites, I simply don't want my guide spammed, channel after channel. Just like I don't want my twitter account spammed by retweets from D* regarding their little spat (but that is another story).
By people who want to waste their time going past hundreds of channels they don't want to watch, yes."raott" said:So,the DVR wasn't designed to be used without favorites?
Move along to spin on some other post please.
I watch those channels occasionally, hence no favorites."tonyd79" said:By people who want to waste their time going past hundreds of channels they don't want to watch, yes.
You got an answer. You didn't like it. Not spin. I was being helpful.
Fine. Whatever. I gave you an answer. It was not condescending. It was informative. You pissed me off in the way you rejected my answer. Too damned bad."raott" said:I watch those channels occasionally, hence no favorites.
And no, you weren't being helpful. Helpful doesn't involve condescending posts. Again, move on to someone else's topic.
Careful."dpeters11" said:Suggesting you call DirecTV and voicing your opinion (which probably won't get them to change anything) or using favorites and removing those channels temporarily, and temporarily unfollowing DirecTV on Twitter are about the only thing we can suggest.
Oh please. Grow up."tonyd79" said:You pissed me off in the way you rejected my answer. Too damned bad.
I see. Only you can be offended. Okay. Guess I am grown up now."raott" said:Oh please. Grow up.
What's the big deal? Just keep scrolling. It's not that serious dude.raott said:For every Viacom channel you see the channel, the -1 alert channel and then a banner for "more info". Its obnoxious, get rid of it.
