Yeah cause they know which channel you want information on.

Obtrusive? No more than the dozens of PPV channels or the other channels you don't subscribe to.

Take your favorites off, try to navigate through the guide and report back. On second thought, don't bother because the response will be predictable.

I don't use favorites, I have no desire to use favorites, I simply don't want my guide spammed, channel after channel. Just like I don't want my twitter account spammed by retweets from D* regarding their little spat (but that is another story).

Okay then. You don't want to bother to use the dvr as it was designed. I get it.

I have turned favorites off to see them and scrolled through just fine. I didn't even know they were there until I read it on this forum though because I used a feature that makes them go away.

In the same time you took to ***** here, they could have been gone. Effective use of your time.

They will be gone when the channels are back or enough time goes by that it is old news. Believe it or not, there are people who are still finding out about this.

But let's change everything so you don't have to use favorites.
