I got a few questions, I am out on my own now so I had to sign up for Dish cuz I loved it having it at home. Ok I got the deal for 2 rooms with HD, I went ahead and got 2 Hd recievers, both V.I.P 211's. One is going on my 55 inch Mittsubishi HD tv and the other is going on a standard def tv. Now when they do the install will I get a Dish 1000 because I know the vooms are on 129 or will I get 61.5 here in East Tennessee? I hope I get a 1000 personally because when its all set up im gonna "move" to Kansas City so I can get the 4 nets in HD. Also anybody with KC locals how good is the picture on them. Let me know....Thanks

TN HD locals are one 129, that is probably the sat you will be hooked up for.

If you got the VIP 622 HD DVR instead, it will drive 2 tv's (1 HD TV and 1 standard def tv). The money you save having only one box will pay DVR fees.

Well I thought about getting the 622 but I really didnt want to pay 199.99 after having to pay out all the money to get my own home and all the utility related things I had to pay, Im sure you guys know how that is, I had to do it within my means.

He can still get the $200 back as a new customer with the current rebates... so if he doesn't spend the $199 on a ViP622, then its like Dish paid him $200 to sign up!

Well got insalled today and it all went well, got a Dish 1000 and 2 VIP 211's, neat install. Then got on the phone and "moved" and got the KC locals and they left my locals on as well even tho that probally wont last long. All and all it went well.

Does that mean it is known that when E* starts carrying the Knoxville HD locals they will be on 129?

Sorry, Nashville TN is on 129, unknown where Knoxville will go.

KC local channels look, although the CW is not carried in HD - only SD with the locals package.

Thanks. So how do I deal with that when I order E*? Is there a chance that once the Knoxville HD locals are available, I might have to have another dish installed?
