Every day for about 2 weeks I must reset factory defaults to get programing. Every time updates are done..... I must reset factory defaults- reset HDTV setup to 1080i and rescan locals.....
What a pain.
I have spoke to several at dish and they asked me to bear with them until my software version can be adjusted L511.
This is happening on three receivers 2-722's and a 211.
Any help out there.....?

If it's a known issue, there isn't anything you can do but wait until it is corrected in software. Replacing your receiver would just result in the same software being downloaded and causing the problem again, plus you'd lose your recordings and such.

No real ideas.....resets, unplug, repoint, or should I just go DIRECT .

Well, Dish just started spooling L512. I'd wait until you could get it and see if it fixes the problem.
