Atlanta market. My brother has Dish and has a 110/119 dish and a 61.5 dish for HD. He has ViP receivers.

I just told him about the locals being on 61.5 now (in addition to 129 - which is too low in the sky for him to get).

What does he need to do (if anything) to get the locals that are now on 61.5 to come in?

Have them turn on his Atlanta locals

Do you mean in a set up screen? The recievers should know now they are mapped on 61.5?

He may need to call DIsh and have them enable Atlanta locals on his account, or maybe just resend the authorization signal again so his receiver knows it can decode them.

I checked my parents setup. Their 622 dvr had the hd locals off of 61.5 mapped already.
