I finally unplugged my WD Essentials 500gb drive because I was sick of the constant pop ups and errors trying to transfer stuff to it. I am going to forget about the whole HDD thing and just live with the space I have.
Has any one been successful getting a refund for the HDD activation? I dont feel that this functionality is anywhere near a point where they should charge extra for it.
