I am upgradeing from a 522 to 2 Vip622's. It will be after the first of the year before they get installed. I have been reading that with the Platinum package the DVR fees are waived. I was wondering how much it would be monthly fees would be with 2 622's compairing the Gold and Platinum. I know I will still have to pay the lease fees for both but will it drop the $6 for both saving me $12 off the $30 extra for Platinum?

Check with E* but I am pretty sure the Platinum package will drop any DVR fees.

I have plat pack with locals and two 622 dvrs and I pay:

104.99 hd pack with locals
6.00 additional receiver

110.99 before tax

So right now, I have 2 622's with the Gold package for $70 + $15 HBO + $12 DVR fees = $97........but for $99 HBO is included AND the DVR fees go away?? :eek2:

HBO, Showtime, Starz, and, while not mentioned anymore Cinemax. HBO, Showtime, and Starz each have one HD channel included.

So a bunch more Premium channels included for a couple of bucks more.

Yes with Dish the more you sub to the more you save. The lesser packs all have more dvr fees . If you try to go with an hd receiver and no hd pack you get hit with the $6.00 hd enabeling fee on EACH Hd receiver you have and the dvr fees are still added in on top of that. So which do you want? More programming or more fees?
