30 Seconds to bring up the guide is just too long.
10 seconds to change channels.
FiOS installed last Friday. Hit a button on the remote and it immediately does something. It's tough getting used to. Channels immediately switch. Shows start playing. 30 second skip skips 30 seconds all the time. No banner ads in the guide.

The slowness was exaggerated with the last software release.
When I called to talk to customer service to ask what can I do to speed things back up to at least where they were, the rep said that it was normal for a channel change to take 5 seconds because there's all this HD stuff that has to happen.
Again, FiOS turns the channel instantly.

Oh - and I don't have to pay more to have the whole house thing work - I can schedule recordings from anywhere and watch them anywhere. So with 2 DVRs and a set top box I can be recording 4 different shows and watching those in any of the 3 locations. I also wired up a couple of other TVs without set top boxes and am able to watch all of the local programming.
