Got New HR21-200 Clock is one hour off

Hey all,

I just got my replacement HR21-200 for my old HR20 that went nuts the other day. Now my clock is off by one hour. I have set the zip code right and the settings are Daylight (DST) Auto, Time Zone is Auto (Eastern) but the time is one hour slow.

Any ideas? Maybe it will sync up overnight or something.

Also are there any real differences between the HR20 and 21?
Thanks
Eric

The clock issue is a known issue. They are working on it.

As far as the HR20 vs HR21.

Sliver vs Black
Just a tiny bit larger drive on the 21
No OTA tuner in the 21, thats about it.

So this issue will remain until the next update?

hmm I have to admit it is a bit disconcerting wandering around guide when the time is off by an hour. I guess we'll get used to it.

Can you set it manually? (Being a relatively technical type I would expect not)

P.S. Thanks for the quick response!
An hour off?
I would try "refresh services" from Directv website (under troubleshooting)
and a reboot (menu>setup>restart)
Another thing to try as well would be to turn your Auto on and off and otherwise play with your Clock settings to see if you can kickstart it back into the right timezone.
Just doing a restart seems to solve this problem.

A reboot should fix this
I was going to say this same thing .. :)
Thanks all,

I just did a restart and that did the trick, the clock is back to the correct time.
