Not sure if this is the right place for this question.... I bought a Sensar GS2200 antenna with pre-amp to get the local HD channels that my Directv package doesn't provide. My Directv dish is a multi-satellite WNC with triple LNB. From the Directv dish, there are 4 coaxial cables going into the attic. I'm assuming these 4 cables are going to the 4 separate rooms in my house. I was planning to use a diplexer so I can use the same cable for the Sensar and the Directv signals and then use another diplexer at the TV to go into Satellite and Antenna inputs. This will work fine if I want the local HD signal to go to only one TV, but what if I want it to go to multiple TV's how would that cable diagram look? Are my above assumptions correct and how would I achieve my goal?
Thanks!!!!

Your big problem is the 2200 is an amplified version and requires a voltage on the coax to power the amplifier. Most diplexers block voltage on the antenna side. A guess will be that you put the power supply in the attic and run a new cable to the sensar from the power supply. From the power supply you will go to a splitter 2-4 depending on how many TVs you want connected. From the splitter you hopefully can connect in the attic to the cables going to the rooms you want to receive OTA. You will need a pair of diplexers on each line.

I've seen something called a satellite/oat combiner which looks like I could run 4 cables from the directv dish and one cable from the oat antenna, then can run cables from this combiner to the 4 TV's with a diplexer at each TV. Then I would put the antenna amplifier in-between the antenna and the combiner, would this work?? Still learning this stuff. Thanks!

The antenna amplifier is built into the GS2200, it is part of the antenna. On the bottom of the bulbous section there should be a sticker that says amplified. Black lettering on a clear sticker, there is a black power supply with 2 "F" fittings and a red light between them, in the box.

Also it is not OAT it is Over The Air
