For some reason my guide information only goes out 2 days.

I skip a day forward and it tells me that guide info is out of date and prompts me to update. When I download the updates it adds one day only.

I tried a hard reset and downloaded the guide info. Still only 2 days out.

Anyone know what the deal is?

I have a 622 by the way.

Have you tried doing a check-switch? This will force the guide info to download at the end of its process.

Are you missing satellites? I forget which satellites have the 7 day quide vs the two day guide.

I'm missing guide info for all DirecTV HD channels. Any ideas why? Is there a way to force a guide update to be downloaded?

Maybe you should ask that over on the DirecTV forums. This forum is for Dish Network receivers. I'm sure the procedure would be different.

I had this issue a while back due to low signals on one satellite I rarely watch so I did not know it was spotty reception but it had the 9 day guide. The 2 day guide (actually 44 hours if you want to be technical) was on a satellite I did watch and had no problems updating every day. Go to Point Dish and check signal strength on the following. Sat110/Tp21 - 2 day guide; Sat119/Tp19 - 2 day guide; Sat119/Tp18 - 9 day guide; Sat129/Tp17 - 2 day guide. Bottom line is Sat119/Tp18 as that is the 9 day guide. Hope this helps.

That's what it is. Sat 119 gets interfered with by a tree in the summer.

It's not an issue because I have all HD off of 61.5 wing dish and I think a couple HD's off of 110 which have no problems.
