Hi all,
I was having random rebooting problems with my H20-600 so they sent me an H20-100. I haven't had a random reboot yet...but I do notice that sometimes when I am using the "prev" button to flip back and forth between channels that sometimes a channel "locks" up. I get a grey screen...and nothing happens. So I have to turn the receiver off and back on...and sometimes the TV on and off again to fix the problem. I am using HDMI with Native resolution Off. Has anyone had this issue...could it be HDMI related? I wasn't having this issue with the 600 (and this is minor compared to the reboots). Thanks in advance.

Make sure you don't have the native mode on...this tends to cause this problem when changing channels because the receiver has to change resolutions depending on what type of broadcast (SD or HD) you are attempting to view...I'm pretty sure that if you do turn the native off and just keep the receiver in 1080i or 720p you'll be fine..

I've only had my H20-100 for about three weeks, but I've noticed that it will occasionally hang when I'm switching from a SAT channel to an OTA channel. It only occasionally happens, and not always with the same channels. Only once did I have to perform a reset. On all other occassions it would hang for up to a minute, then the OTA channel would be acquired. While hung, I receive a black screen with the channel banner, and no remote or box inputs are accepted. Signal strength for both SAT and OTA signals are very high for my big 4 networks. I've tested the scenario against a couple very weak OTA signals from distance stations, just to see if that was the cause (slow acquisition of signal), but I could never force the box into a hang-up where inputs were not accepted.
