The Update is in testing (and has been for a while).

I don't have any update on it's rollout timeline

I can deal with the H20 not being interactive. What I can't deal with is how slow it is. I'm dumping that thing as soon as my commitment breaking fee gets to a reasonable amount.

You know, if you send back the H20 (and any other leased equipment you have) the commitment breaking fee is $0.

You HAVE to return leased equipment when you cancel your account or they charge you a Non-Return fee. I know the fee for HD DVRs is $470, and it scales down from there to, I think, $99 for a standard SD receiver. The H20 might be in the $250 neighborhood.

Returning leased equipment does NOT get you out of the commitment. Even if you return your leased equipment, there is still a $12.50 per month early cancellation fee for each month you have remaining on your commitment period.

Might want to just look at trading in the H20 for the HR20 DVR. You should be able to do that for free or at most $99. Then you'll not only get the interactive services but a dual tuner DVR as well.
