that was the problem i was having, only mine needed to go through the setup every time there was a power loss. i have a new box now, and that is what fixed it for me, then i get the new firmware yesterday as a bonus. hopefully directv continues to tweak and update firmware adding functionality and features along the way, i love stuff like this.oldengineer said:OK, I received S/W update version 4084 10-15-08 at 0331 EDST.
