H24 audio question

I just upgraded my tv and switched from component to Hamilton outputs.

Can the h24 output audio on both the hdmi and optical at the same time?

Yes; all outputs are simultaneously active.

BTW, what do you mean by "Hamilton outputs"?
I have 1 system with HDMI to the TV and an Optical cable to the Yamaha AVR.

A second system is running Component cables to the TV, including the red and white for audio, and the Optical cable to a Yamaha AVR. On this unit I run the TV speakers sometimes and the Yamaha at other times. It will play the surround sound and the TV speakers all at the same time.
That darn iOS spell checker. I meant to type hdmi.

Thanks for the quick responses. It helps me localize a problem to my onkyo tx-sr806 receiver. Since reconfiguring I can't it to output any digital audio from any source.

Take a look in your manual on page 46. It tells you starting there how to make the intial setup of the Digital Inputs and how to assign them.

Been there, done that. Even cycling through the inputs via the digital input button. It senses the correct optical input.

Im not looking for support assistance on the onkyo. I obviously have a config setting incorrect and I just need to localize it.
